Freshness
I love it the chicken is so fresh that a skilled veterinarian can still save it.

hot and comfy....
Nothing beats the aroma of a hot sinampalukang manok. Some people say this is considered as one of the best comfort food and the best soup if you feel like having a cough or flu because this is considered as the Pinoy version of chicken soup. Best for lunch, dinner and of course when it is raining.I like sinampalukang manok its a little spicy and lots of natural tamarind to complete the goodness package.

Good pinoy comfort food
Delicious comfort food flavored with sampalok (tamarind) mixed with tomatoes, pinoy green pepper and string beans. Chicken cut in cubes or "tinola cut" and served on a big palayok (clay pot) good for 3-4 persons.
It's one of pinoy's traditional home-cooked foods "lutong bahay". Since we don't usually see this in filipino cuisine restaurants unlike sinigang na baka, sinigang na bangus we took the chance to taste it there. Though I've also tried cooking it myself, I guess I still need more practice to get the perfect "sour" taste hehe :)
Eventually, we enjoyed this dish and had a comforting meal :)
